A lovely and well-rounded introduction to witchcraft for those with little to no background on the subject. It is lighthearted, personal, easy to read, and gives both examples of spells and suggestions for further reading. I appreciate the emphasis on research and respect of materials and traditions of Indigenous peoples.
That said, some statements are very generalized and a bit Anglo-American focused, typically concerning the history of witchcraft. Extra sources would help with this. I'd also appreciate correspondence lists and the bibliography be in alphabetic order for ease of finding things. Overall, a nice debut book and easy introduction.
