The Great Fat Fraud: Why the "Obesity Epidemic" Isn't, How to Be Totally Healthy without Losing Weight and If You Should Lose Some Pounds, How to Keep Them from Finding You Again by Mike Schatzki
I received this book as an early reviewer and I was very glad when it arrived. I found the author to be conversational with a unique style. While I don't think that the word "revolutionary" is an approprate description for the information in the book, as taking a certain amount of steps a day has been recommended many times in past readings of mine, I found the information contained in the pages within to be a nice refresher and I am always happy to see (in print) that the number on the scale is not the last word when it comes to being considered healthy. The author does a very good job at getting that point across. My favorite part of the book was Part IV, "Endnotes and More Detail on the Science Underlying This Book". I found this section to be extremely informative and worthwhile reading. The information contained in this section is what raises my review of this book from three stars to four. Thank you very much.
