This book follows Poppy, who has her dream job traveling the world and writing about it, but lately something feels missing. Her longtime friendship with Alex, built through years of summer trips together, is no longer what it once was.

I enjoyed the way the story moves between the present and summers past, showing how their friendship develops over time. There were moments where the timeline briefly confused me, but it did not take away from the overall experience.

This is an easy, enjoyable read and a great choice if you like friends to maybe more romances with travel and emotional depth.
