this was the most disappointing of Gregory's novels that I've read so far. While it was good, I just couldn't get into the stories and the characters as I could in The Constant Princess & The Other Boleyn Girl.
I really didn't want to buy this book, because I didn't want to support an author who would deceive the world as he did - but I finally caved and now, I hate to admit, I really enjoyed this book. The story was gripping and I LOVED the author's writing style which really put you into the story.
This book is a must read for everyone - besides the deeper meanings, I just love the basic story about the world going to hell b/c the idiots are left to run it!
while I enjoyed this book, and I find all of Dan Brown's books to be suspenseful and good reads, it just did not live up to being the precursor to the DaVinci Code.
This is far & away Paulo Coelho's best book - I find it so inspiring that I read it whenever I have nothing else to read or when I just need a 'lift'.
This book was just wonderful - it painted such a vivid picture of life in England during the days of Anne Boleyn and it was impossible to put this book down.
