When I first started reading Will Grayson Will Grayson I had doubts, but the characters grew and changed so much during the story and I loved it. Will Grayson just slips through life being quiet and letting his best friend Tiny Cooper do all the talking. Will Grayson (number 2) cares only about his online friend Isaac. But one night at frenchie's everything changes. Will Grayson meets Will Grayson. It's pretty awesome. I liked that the link between the two Will Graysons was Tiny Cooper. And of course Tiny Dancer/Hold Me Close the musical was amazing. How is it possible for David Levithan and John Green to create such splendiferousness?!?!
I'd say the first book in the series (Evil Genius) was better, but I definitely liked Genius Squad a lot better than I thought I would. It's one of those books that's anything but predictable. The ending was a shock.
I was surprised this book won a newberry as it was not something I would have read on my own. I read it when it won the newberry and liked it more than I thought I would.
Down the Rabbit Hole could have been a great mystery, but in the end I fund the character of Ingrid annoying, figured out the mystery before she did, and decided I better not read the next two books in the series. Disappointing.
Elsewhere is an intresting idea: after you die you go to live in a perfect land where you get younger and younger until being reborn onto earth. I thought this sounded like it would be cool but the book isn't actually that good.
This book was cute and had some really intresting things about art and art forgeries. The whole art thing was very clever but the idea of a beetle and his mini paintings wasn't as good. Overall I liked her other book "Shakespeare's Secret" better.
i read this in one night it was so good, I love moriatry's works (year of secret assignments, the death of bindie mackenzie) I love how it's written all in letter with several different plots that fit together nicely ina really laugh out loud way.
