"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."

So begins one of the most enduring, loved books in English literature. Pride and Prejudice tells a story everyone knows: girl and boy meet, girl and boy immediately dislike one another, girl and boy fall in love. The book has been adapted into countless movie adaptations, the storyline borrowed and changed into numerous books (Bridget Jones), and the hero of the book has been lusted after by countless females.

The book chronicles the story of Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy. He displays an exorbitant amount of pride and she holds onto unfounded prejudices against him and the two spend the first half of the novel barely tolerating one another. However, as they spend more time together and actually take the time to get to know each other their dislike changes into like and then into love.

The story contains an eclectic mix of characters, some absolutely classic scenes, and a love story that is timeless.
Dracula may not be the first vampire novel but it is the ultimate vampire novel.

Dracula tells the story of Count Dracula as he makes his way to English soil and brings havoc to the lives around him. We first meet Dracula when Jonathan Harker visits him at his castle in Transylvania. Strange things happen to Harker in Transylvania and it seems uncertain whether or not he is going to survive his visit.

The story is brilliantly told through a collection of journal entries by the various characters in the book and newspaper clippings; all of which point to something very wrong going in and around the estate of Count Dracula, newly arrived in England on the search for fresh blood. As more and more strange things begin to happen around Dracula is becomes clear that he is the cause of all that is going on.

The classic horror novel, written in 1897 is strongly rooted in its time, yet it is an enduring book that can still be enjoyed today. Readers will the on the edge of their seat as the mystery surrounding Dracula slowly unwind.
