I feel better for having read it, but it got very dense for me in places. I understand I'm not the intended audience of the book, so I'm sure my perspective on it is skewed as a result.
I read this book right around the time of the 2024 US presidential election and it helped me a good bit. It was a very easy introduction to stoicism and I really liked how the author used very relatable, real world scenarios to help explain each facet of the philosophy. Might have to give this one a re-read soon
Better than expected. I liked the movies, but I guess I expected the writing to be a bit more childish. I fully understand how these became as popular as they did. Genuinely looking forward to reading the rest of the series
