"The Boy In The Striped Pajamas" is a great book. A boy named Bruno moves to a new place and becomes friends with a Jew. This book is a Historical Fiction book because some of the details in the book happened in the book long ago. I would recommend this book to people of all ages. It is a very touching story. The theme in this story is that it doesn't matter what color of skin you are or what nationality you could be friends with whoever you meet.

The book "Hoot" is an interesting book which is based on a boy that helps out owls that are going to get killed because they wanted to make a mother Paula's pancake House in their property. This book is also a great example of realistic fiction because as Roy, Beatrice and Mullet Fingers forge an unlikely trio and try to save the Burrowing owls. In the end they finish up winning and the Burrowing owls survive. I would recommend this book to all ages from 10 and up. This would be a great book for people who would love to try to save animals that are in trouble of going instinct or just want to make a difference.
The book "Al Capone Does My Shirts" is an awsome book. It is very interesting because what happens in the book could happen in real life. Many kids often have to move to a new place and leave their friends behind just like the main charecter in the story Moose. His life is also difficult because he has to assume the responsibilities of a parent to his autistic sister. I would recomend this book to all junior high school students to read it if you have dealed with problems of moving or taking care of your sister like if she was your child. The story isn't only full of suprises but it also has a wonderful ending that is really touching and that would make you appreciate your family.
