It seems that all Marx family has a futurist tendency. The first experiment on “constructing a just society where everybody would be happy” was done at the beginning of the XX century. (I mean socialist countries). With all the positive and disastrous consequences. Now standing in front of a new spiral of evolution we can try to see what is in the agenda of futurist vision for the humanity for the XXI century. A new Marx system! It collects a lot of interesting information of “new Age” kind and shows the futuristic vision of the society with and approach integrating the personal and social needs; it includes the Attraction Law and the last achievements in psychology and Sciences etc. It is really inspiring – and worth reading… Just, excuse me, as a product of the 1st socialist experiment I feel that it is still a vision of an American; meanwhile the world is such a melting pot, various and constantly changing. One thing is indoubtful – everybody has an important role in our future.
Being a personal experience the book is really amazing. The biggest surprise for me was to discover at the end of reading that the writer is a woman – it is not clear from the name and taking into account all the dangerous adventures she lived in the book. Through her courageous spirit we learn about the of Australian aborigine society , amazingly existing along with the “white civilization” but refusing the “artificial” life in the cities and calling themselves “real men”. Herbs instead of medicines, telepathy instead of telephone, and communion with animals instead of psychologist – all this produced a big change in her vision of human adventure called life. “Il y a eu croissance spirituelle parce que je considerais comme un du m’a ete refuse et que j’ai pris conscience de la dualite”.
For an individual unconsciously brought up on Christian basis – it would be very interesting to see the sophisticated pattern of connections and interferences between Buddhism and Christianity. A Buddhist monk – tried to do first steps to integrate the “internal” aspects of both religions. The book informs about basic Buddhist doctrine, and notions that seem common for Christianity as well (take in consideration the differences of the original conditions): Bodhisattva and Saint, the Nature of Buddha and the God is in everything, illusions and sins. It gives you a fresher enriching view on your “inherited” religion.

Twenty years after the publication of this book people seem less interested in yoga. It seems so known – sutras and mantras. The modern fashion brings us to new systems, even if they are as old as this one. You will meet Indian terms, but do not worry; it will show amazing similarity to the systems you know already. Just a slightly new view point, to doubt and to ask. It’s curious as well to see how these ideas are perceived twenty years later.
