This was another quick, solid Christmas romance. I loved how everything came together in the end, and the addition of the puppy was just perfect. Thanks, Smashwords, for the free copy!
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I'm a glutton for holiday romances, and this was just what I needed to get me out of a current reading rut. Cute, sweet, and a quick read; it was lovely without being remarkable or memorable. Thanks, Smashwords, for the free copy!
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I really enjoy what I've seen from Luvvie on social media; I think she's a strong voice and one we need to hear. Wasn't super sold on this book, though. Don't get me wrong, there were at least two parts where I laughed my ass off, but overall it was just ok.
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I was underwhelmed by this; I typically enjoy Anne Tyler's writing. This, however, fell flat for me. I wanted more character depth; I felt like we got to know Kate pretty well but by the end, Pyotr was still a complete mystery. And the epilogue? So weak.
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.it was a quick, enjoyable read with just enough humor and smut to keep me entertained. I feel like I need a new liver after reading it though; how can these tiny women drink so much all the time?! One of life's biggest mysteries, I guess. It was interesting to hear how the lives of airline workers changed post-9/11 and I enjoyed learning the ins and outs of the business along with the relationship hierarchy of the staff. Parts of this memoir were a little hard to understand for me since there is a lot of British dialect I didn't always catch, but overall it was fun.
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I kind of loved this book. I loathed Gone Girl so this was a really fun way to blow off some pent up aggression towards the Nick & Amy duo.
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. This book has a good message: it's important to lean on friends and family when going through a trauma. It was a quick read, but was so clearly geared toward young adults that it felt a bit too simplistic & formulaic. Girl endures abuse, withdraws, lashes out, accepts & heals. Nothing extraordinary but I think I would have dug it if I was, say, 13.
Love the cover, though.

This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I loved this book. Loved loved loved it. It made me feel every single emotion, sometimes simultaneously. That's a good book, you know? I want every female I know to read it.
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I loved the ideas behind this lesson plan; if this were presented to me as a middle schooler I'd be really excited about it. As an adult/teacher, though, I'm a little meh. It seems like a lot of prep and really time-consuming. That said, I'm all for new ways to get kids jazzed about reading. The plans were easy to follow and I'd like to hear success stories!
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I thought the writing of this book was good but I didn't really find myself being able to relate to much of the material. Maybe farther along in my marriage I'll find it more useful; let's just say I'm glad I have it on my shelf to re-visit again down the line.
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I love a good collection of erotica and while there were a couple hits in this book, my overall opinion is that as a whole it was just ok. Cute cover, though! :)
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I really, really enjoyed this ARC. Being a plus sized lady, I've always been afraid to try Yoga, for many reasons; most of which being I was too afraid I'd hurt myself with some of the moves.
This book changed all of that. By giving great ideas on how to change yoga poses to fit my size, it made me feel more confident and that I could do yoga, too!
My only complaint was that it was hard for me to have to continue going back to the book to reference each move as I did it. Love the concept, but think that maybe it might be more beneficial as a DVD.

This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. As my very first ARC, I was over the moon excited to read this book, and it did not disappoint. Jim Henson (& his characters) has been loved by me throughout my childhood and I hope to continue that with my son.
I was blown away by all he managed to achieve in his lifetime. The dude was definitely a creative giant and deserves to be ranked among the highest artists. He's done so much more than Sesame Street and the Muppets, yet that's what most will always remember him for. A true genius. He died way too young.
Since I was an early reviewer, my copy didn't have any of the pictures, which will be a huge asset once this goes on sale. I hope everyone manages to pick it up! It's a beast of a book but it read fast. Great interviews with his family & friends as well.
