I will admit that I expected more information about Oscar and perhaps why he does what he does. However, beyond that I really enjoyed the book and liked the information that was presented in it. It offered a few insights into how to deal with and what questions to ask to help with caring for my mother-in-law. The last chapter gave a few much needed pointers in dealing with end of life care and was very simple and straightforward. I think the author makes a very valid point that caregivers and patients don't care so much about the labels of their condition... what they really need is information on how to live with it.
