An *excellent* basic construction book on basic yoke dresses, Bishop yoke dresses, boy's button-on suits. Lots of different options and variations on a theme.

*Fantastic* book on sewing techniques to make construction of smocked children's clothing easy. Not heirloom techniques but *excellent* for "everyday" clothing. I have 2 editions: 1983 and 1988. The later edition has more photos & variations. Either are invaluable.
