wieder einmal zeitverschwendung - ich freue mich über jedes literarische werk des genres spec fiction. das hier ist auf dem gleichen niveau wie geschichtren auf der kellogs müsli packung. seichte unterhaltung in einer pseudo macho sprache ohne ideen oder auch nur den versuch, charaktere zu zeichen. jedes buch bekommt die chance, mich in 50 Seiten zu überzeugen. The Culled hat mich bereits nach 10 Seiten scheitern lassen. "the unsettling bong bongs of warning instruments" und andere sprachliche höhenflüge überzeugen nicht. der autor schreibt üblicherweise comics, ein genre, das ich liebe. er sollte dabei bleiben

simple story in the tradition of John Carter of Mars. illogical - People running around naked although it is cold at night. Original published under the name of edward p bradbury

garbage - the novel is linguistically so primitive that i had to stop reading it after only three pages.

A waste of time. Some of the SF Books from the 60ties are boring today. Space Age is Over.

some people seem not have read the book. otherwise bluetyson would not have written such a review. the owner of a strip of land found the boat while toiling his field, not "scientist types", whatever this means.. the plot is totally stupid.
seeker is a great novel by mcdevitt, this is a complete waste of time.

if you want "cheap" undemanding entertainment it's ok -
if you are 14 it's ok
if you want more food for thought . drop it
