I have an autographed hard-back of this amazing book. It was given to me by a former Navy Seal. The book still smells of patchouli and I have read it many times since I received it in 1997. Highly recommend this to everyone I meet.
I read this book after it was recommended by another fellow knitter. The dynamics of the patient/doctor relationship were laid out beautifully. The character evolved and it was refreshing to see the way the book ended.
The Beekeeper's Apprentice: Or On the Segregation of the Queen/A Novel of Suspense Featuring Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes (Mary Russell Novels) by Laurie R. King
I had forgotten how much I loved a good mystery until I was recommended this book. I fear that I am hooked and will have to acquire the remainder of the series.
