Good story. Not enough back story and too many subplots. Give me one or two good characters and really develop it. I felt that the many short stories left me hanging too much. I want more, but not more bits and peices. I did not like the ending and felt the story needed more closure before setting up the next book.

Somewhat predictable romance novel that left too much unanswered. It had an exciting start but lulled a bit in the middle. The characters were likeable, but not believable by historical dictates. It was not bad, but I wanted more answers to the subplot. Maybe the next book will fill in the blanks. It was an easy read, good for the beach.
