A moving true story of a mother's journey in saying goodbye to her dying daughter, surviving the grief and having to raise and nuture the rest of the family. A tear jerker.
Love this book. Heartbreaking, warm, full of courage. This story needed to be told of an amazing lady and the courage and daring she needed to stay alive. She is a modern day hero.
Wow what a story! Love this book. Although it is fantasy it will appeal to all because of the fabulous story content. It could also be used to parallel the holocaust.
Love this book as I did the movie. I was surprised to find out that the movie didn't stray from Marchetta's novel. A must read for all students.
This novel is full of surprises. It covers a broad range of personalities for such a small country town. Not knowing what to expect it certainly has a twist of an ending.
An amazing take on the story of Sleeping Beauty. Another moving and harrowing tale of survival from the jaws of evil.
Not bad. Hoping it was going to be in the flavour of Janet Evanovich. Set in Melbourne, which made it fun. Had a laugh.
Can't believe I have to wait for the next installment!
Plum Boxed Set 2 (4, 5, 6): Contains Four to Score, High Five and Hot Six (Stephanie Plum Novels) by Janet Evanovich
I love this series! Stephanie rocks!
Oh my gosh! This story is so powerful. You will be so moved that you will forget that you are reading this horrifying story but living it! Felix and Zelda's journey will never leave you even after the last page has been read.
Not sure about this. It's the first book of Tim Winton's that I have read. I have heard that his stories are nearly all based in WA. I also watched Jennifer Bryne's "Tuesday's Book Club" to see what 'the professions" thought. They didn't seem to have a problem with the sexual nature. Which had an enormous long term effect on the main character. As someone who works in a senior secondary college, I'm sitting out on this one for awhile.
A seventeen year old’s fight to regain her life back after an car accident left with a broken neck. Learning how to walk by herself is not the hardest challenge she has to face.
Not a bad story. Easy to read.

Second instalment of the Young James Bond series. Like the first, this story took a while to warm up then it took off. As usual, great story and easy to read.
Takes you back to how James Bond became the James Bond. This story was slow to take off. However, when it did it was fast paced and gripping.
I really enjoyed it.

Great spin on the latest genre of teenage spy/adventure stories. We begin this adventure in England and then move to Namibia in Africa. What makes this story different is that it has an environmental aspect where greed overtakes the importance of human life. I loved this book and would recommend it. Can’t wait for the next instalment released in 2008.
This story grabs you right from the start. Not knowing exacting the “it” problem until halfway through, it keeps the reader engrossed to find out what Annabel chose to do. This story is quite powerful as it deals with the very real issues that face teenagers today. Peer group pressure, sexual assault, anorexia and true friendship. Ultimately Annabel discovers that she is the only one that can make the decisions and be truthful to herself. Fabulous story and highly recommended.
A young airman's courageous journey to get back home after his plane was shot down by the Germans. His survival was largely due to the brave people who put their own lives at risk to make sure that he was able to see his own parents again.
A depressing story about a boy and his family living in a remote Italian village. Intense and unforgiving, this story has an unusual ending.
Hauntingly beautiful. Set in Queensland. Delves into the relationship between a boy and his neighbour. This story reminds us that you should never judge people from just what you see on the outside
This is an extremely emotive story. It makes you step back and think about the decisions you make and the consequences it might have on your own children and their friends
Yeah ok, however, it wasn't as good as her main story lines.
As usual, Grandma Mazaur gets the biggest laugh.
