This is a very engaging thriller- it holds your interest from page one. In fact, I read the entire book the day I received it! Castillo is a very good author- her characters ring true and her place descriptions are, for the most part, right on and not too wordy. Also, she does a good job with the "Amish" part of the story, unlike some recent authors that I could name. If you like the books of authors like Kellerman and Patterson, you will like this one. I was also glad to see in the back cover notes that this is the first of a series. All in all a good, fun, not too demanding read.
