This sequel to "Evil Genius" was just as much fun as the first book in the series. While the prose isn't perfect, the characters are engaging and the story will keep you reading long into the night. Since the second book starts right where the first left off, this is one series that will be more satisfying if the books are read in order.
Anastasia is still working to own the family mansion as a refuge for her family when her sister Patra shows up at the mansion after being burned out of her apartment in London. She is bringing Ana the files she thinks the arsonist was after. Patra's files bring new investigations for Ana and her mysterious patron in the attic. From there the plot takes off into politics, murder and conspiracy. Dive into this book if you like quirky characters and wild action.
