This volume has an odd plot line that almost turns the story into a shonen anime…which is inventive and the art is still amazing, but I wasn’t as interested in the story when that happened. It’s a shame the story may never continue, but it’s so enigmatic that you can come up with your own theories and feel a sense of closure anyway.
A great continuation of the story and art from volume 1. There are so many pages to just get lost in the detailed art.
Incredible art and paneling. You really feel like you’re on a drug trip when trying to figure out what is real vs what is Kabu’s brain.
