This book was one I was honestly looking forward to getting because of the fact it’s about horses. Since I had a strong bond with my horse, Tripp, growing up I believed this was going to be a book I could relate to a lot. Unfortunately though, due to the way the author laid out this book, I couldn’t stay involved in it at all. The author made the horses talk, and made me feel like I was reading a child’s book instead of a mature adult version of this book. The idea behind this book was great, but the layout really turned me off from it. You can read more at http://www.tidbitsofexperience.com/ten-thousand-heaven-book-review/
This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers.I really enjoyed this book, and look forward to reading more books from this author!!
I really loved this book. I had to make sure my husband was home though.
I thought this was a good book. It was good easy read. I got quite a few laughs from it as well. I've picked up more books from this author today while I was at the library. I enjoyed the way she writes.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who deals with kids. This author does "preach to the choir" but he also gives honest feedback and some reasonable tips to consider using. You can read more of my review at http://www.tidbitsofexperience.com .
I enjoyed this book a lot. There was to much adult language in for my usual taste, but I liked the plot a lot.
This book started out so slow, but then it got to be really good. I had to make time to be able to read it. :)
This was another great parenting book. This book helps a parent to understand "HOW" they love their kids. We all have our unique ways of parenting, and this book definitely helps point out the pros and cons of each type of style. To read more about my review go to http://www.tidbitsofexperience.com .

Anyone who knows me, knows that I believe in God with every ounce of my being. I also do my fair share of trying to persuade someone to believe in him as well. I am not against having a serious heart to heart discussion about my belief in him. However, this book made me feel like I was literally being "preached at" the entire time I was reading it.
The author made some very valid points please don't get me wrong. I totally agree with him that our educational system has gone down the pits. I may have this strong belief because I spent from the time I was in the 5th grade until my freshman year in college (the first time I went right out of high school) preparing to become a teacher. That was until I actually had the great pleasure of teaching, and that all changed because I found out just how much our educational system doesn't really want us to "teach" the kids about life skills and educational matters. Instead we are suppose to "pacify" the kids and attempt to teach them.
