I really liked this book too. The Jouberts story telling skills is a true gift. The drama and the pride dynamics are unique. Old Silver eye is quite an interesting lioness.

I loved this book. Motsumi the lioness was my favorite. I think the Jouberts are great story tellers and bring their characters to life. The difference between the two males and the way the hyenas treat each male differently is very intriguing.
