*We just hit 16 million books.
*Thursday was a normal day. Nothing "happend"—no newspaper story or major blog coverage. But we had 55,000 books added. That's a normal-day record.
*Wednesday had 1,600 messages in talk. Thursday had 1,450. Things are really taking off in some groups. We also hit 200,000 reviews.
*All the connection features are back on, and the new Connection News feature added. The servers are holding up very well, with all the hard "thinking" offloaded to a new, supercharged box.
Feeling good... Now if we could only get a Database Adminstrator.

Sometimes, LT is the only thing that gets me through the workday, and I'm personally getting ready to contact the pope to propose Tim's canonization ... that being said, naturally, I'm going to re-pick a small nit here ... I just wish I/we knew how many "real" books/works were being added to libraries instead of to wishlists ...

I can see it now... Tim's book police descend unannounced with a banging at the door and quickly spread through the house. "Where's this copy of Gerard Manley Hopkins you claim? Lost it in grad school 30 years ago didn't you? And this copy of Tai Pan with the sun lotion stains really belongs to your sister-in-law, doesn't it? Shape up or we're throwing away your data..."

There is no spoon.
But seriously, wish lists are coming.
