To be specific, if your own library contains multiple instances (translations, editions, etc.) of a work, then extra copies of that work appear in catalog view when viewing the Books You Share with another library that contains that work. Unfortunately, because the total number of books displayed is not adjusted to account for this problem, other books do not appear in the list (they, for all practical purposes, fall off the end of the list). Which books are left out depends on how you sort this list -- if you sort by date entered, then the most recently entered books will not be listed.*
I've described this problem in more detail (including a link to duplicate a particularly ugly case) in the error posting The "42 Quijotes" Bug. I don't know how the shared book display is implemented, but the fix sounds like it would be a (hopefully simple) question of comparing works with books, rather than books with books.
* Since posting this message, the entry date sort has been changed to default to reverse order, so it's now the least recently books that are not listed.

This is noted. I'm not sure when I (and I can't speak for anybody else) will be able to get to it due to a large code change that I'm involved in this week. But it is noted and in my starred messages.

Thanks, Chris. Noted is good.
