Activate relative links by using a defined string

In order to make posting of internal relative links easier, so that we don't have to go the "a href" route every time when we are posting local links, can LT be set so that enclosing a relative link in three square brackets (or two curly brackets, or some other simple string) will do the job instead?

ETA: I tried three square brackets around lttip but they did not show up.
