I combined Hilary Du Pre with Hilary Du Pré, which worked fine (the 10 + 2 cipies of the same work now show up as 12). But on author=dupreacutehilary I now get:

None.
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 4 - fatal error (5)
ps: I see the message still is
"This entry has been combined with exactly the same name - instead of the name it has been combined with."
