inviting someone new to the site

I would like to see a list of the people to whom I have already sent an invitation, so I don't keep sending invitations to the same ones without realizing it. It is a great idea and I think it is quite a new feature, so I hope it is possible to tinker with it a bit more. There is no other place to conveniently keep such a list. What do you think?

Hmmm. There's a privacy question there—should we save that information? It's tricky. I think it's clear we should NOT save all email information retrieved in from your address book, but should we save the ones you've sent out?

Can you save it so that only the sender can access the record? I talk to so many people and not everyone can look it up right away. Then later I can't remember who I have talked to or whether I have sent them the invitation.

This will be sorted out very shortly and offer some new features.

I'm revamping the invite code this week (It's not a new feature and it was in dire need of an update) and you'll be able to quickly see all of your contacts that are currently members of LT as well as those who have been sent invitations in the past (so you don't keep sending them invites). The entire interface will be unified and easier to use also, at least I hope that's the case.

Hi, I just sent invitations to 10 friends, but evidently the invitations only went to the first 3 I entered. I kept clicking on 'more' to add the others, but it appears they didn't get sent. How can I check? Is there a limit on invitations?

The new invite code was sidetracked a bit due to some other projects (and my paternity leave), but we should be releasing a completely new invitation feature this week.

Hopefully it will fix any problems that you are having.
