Are you only interested in ones you can buy in the bookstore in English, or are you also willing to download scanlations of some that have not been released in English officially?

I can recommend Yellow by Makoto Tateno. I thought the development of the relationship between Taki and Goh was beautifully done and had my pulse racing throughout the series (4 volumes). It's easy enough to get at Borders.
I'd also recommend Antique Bakery by Fumi Yoshinaga. Not what I'd consider true yaoi but there's enough that you couldn't just call it a shounen-ai title, like Loveless. It's also 4 volumes and easily obtained at Borders and possibly Barnes & Noble.

Barefoot Gen is one of the best Manga stories ever. It's four volumes of very real stories about WW II. The eponymous Gen is a boy in Hiroshima before and after the bombing. THis is heartbreaking stuff, but as human as the medium can get.

Since you liked FAKE, I second Imbriana's recommendation for Makoto Tateno's Yellow. In addition, I recommend Kizuna. Both of those have been licensed and published in the US.
If you are interested in seeking out unlicensed manga, there is more variety. With only one book for reference on what you liked, it's difficult to recommend more.
I suggest you check out books on LT tagged "yaoi" and look for something that appeals to you. If you're unsure, you can always post again to gather opinions about any particular book in the genre. :)

Depends on what type of yoai you like.. I notice a trend of either coworkers and school boys romances.

I would probably call the Embracing Love series is my favorite so far, although I also loved Makoto Tateno's works as well. I'm waiting for the second volume of Hero Heel to come out. I've enjoyed some volumes of Love Mode more than others and Our Kingdom if you don't mind the young age of some of the characters.
