I am interested in hearing about any Canadian books (not children's) on a Christmas theme that you have enjoyed. I am pulling out some of the Christmas books from mount TBR to read through, but only one had any Canadian content.
Suggestions?
Edit: For those that are interested the Canadian Christmas book I have read is A Cowboy Christmas celebrating the season on ranch and range. Set mostly in Canada, and a bit in the US. Wrote a review. However I am not specifically looking for 'cowboy' type books.

Maybe Dead Cold by Louise Penny (mystery) or High Spirits by Robertson Davies (short stories).
Didn't Lucy Maud Montgomery write a book or two with a Christmas theme?? .... Ah yes, here it is Christmas with Anne and other holiday stories

BCteagirl - I'm sure you've read Dave Cooks a Turkey by Stuart Mclean from The Vinyl Cafe but just in case not, I thought I'd remind you! :)
touchstones do not appear to be working.
I did enjoy Dead Cold as cozy mystery! Hope you do too!

I think my parents even have the CD (A gift from me heheh) at home!
Buried in marking right now, but will hopefully get back to reading on Monday.

Oooo thanks for those! I will check the used bookstore when I go tomorrow. :)
I realize I also have a Canadian Christmas cookbook, although it might be in storage: The Christmas Cookbook: Great Canadian Recipes

Found a review of this book in my Google Reader today, looks like it is set on the trek to Dawson city, Yukon:

I love Brian Doyle. Up to Low is my personal favourite because we go through Low Quebec on the way to our cottage.
