Adding pictures - valid formats: .svg

Hi! I tried to add a logo in .svg format to weltbrotfuumlrdie::Brot für die Welt ( /author/weltbrotfuumlrdie ) .
The file is BrotFürDieWelt-Logo.svg (see de.Wikipedia - ger). After entering all relevant information the uploaded procedure ended up with a message "No picture".

a) I wounder if LT supports files in .svg format.
b) Should the message be changed?

The message currently says "We accept jpg, gif, bmp and png images". So I would assume that means .svg images won't work.
