Welcome to the challenge, Marty! I've enjoyed your posts on other threads here on LT, and especially enjoy all the book quotes on your profile.

I've been at this challenge for over a year, and your list already looks half-full!

Thanks for the welcome.
I've been lurking in this challenge for a while and one snowing day out of curiosity I started to list the books that fell into each State. Like I said these books are all books I've read since joining LT (so that's about three years).

I forgot about this challenge. So here is my book for Nebraska

O Pioneers! by Willa Cather (4stars)

A wonderful book.

Writing is simple, as is the story. But the characters fill our imaginations as they do the land that they settle.
For a book that is one hundred years old (published in 1913) it is still has the power to draw us into the narrative.
This is the first book of what is considered her pioneer trilogy, I'll have to look into the others.
