Hello!
I'd like to join up if it's allright.

I live in Independence. I was invited to take a look by my Santathing person who is a member.

I'm kind of a slow reader so maybe I'll just hang out until you start the next book, if that's allright.

I've never done this before, but am looking forward to it.
This is such a great site!

Welcome! It might be a good idea to wait for the next one--this one wasn't easy to find, and it's long, so feel free to read some of the posts, and watch the Future Books thread for our April read.

Also, I keep a spreadsheet of books that have been suggested, so when it's time to choose a book, my son picks three out of a hat and we choose between them. So if you have any suggestions, let us know! We'll put them on the list.

(And I hope you enjoyed your books!)

Thanks. I will.

Have you read a book called Gully Town?
It's a fictionlized history of Kansas City. It's been a few years since I read it and it may be hard to find.

Well, it's in my library, and available in the Amazon marketplace, and we've never let "hard to find" stop us before. I'll add it to the list!

Hi Missourians! I'm joining you in reading Private Life this month. Anything I need to know about participating in the discussion?

Welcome aboard! I can't think of anything particular you need to know before the discussion, besides that it starts on Monday June 6 and that it is great to have you here!

Hi Brenda, glad you'll be joining us. I'm going to plow through the book this weekend. From the reviews (and your 2.5 stars), I'm thinking this may not be my favorite Missouri read! Catch ya on Monday.
