Perhaps this has been posted before, but here is an excellent compilation of audio sites:

The only one of those sites I've used is Librivox. Sandydog1, have you used any of the sites yourself? Any recommendations?

Thank you for sharing this, Sandydog1! I have been looking for a site like this.

I wonder if most of these are librivox recordings. I've found some apps for
my Ipad that deal with audio books and they are all basically selling librivox
recordings through a different site.

I'm new to this group; thanks Sandydog1 for the link to free audiobooks. I'm now listening on both ipod and cd, thanks again from a newly audio fan.

Most of the top free ebooks on this site have the free audio version in the books page. So you can read and listen at the same time: http://www.booksygen.com/search/freebook?q=&edition=all

I use audible, but DRM is a drag. I would like to mention audiogo.com for BBC audiobooks.

Has anyone purchased from NaxosAudiobooks.com and can relate their experience with this site?
