I have heard a lot about Water for Elephants but never read it. Do you like it?

I have recently bought the novel Water for Elephants in preparation for this movie but haven't read the novel yet. I have seen movie the trailer featuring Reese Witherspoon and this guy from the movie Twilight. Quite an interesting trailer.

Water for Elephants is a very good book. I'm a little curious how the movie will be though. I'm not crazy about the casting and the director has a shaky past to say the least. The trailer looks intriguing so I'm sure I'll go see it. Sara Gruen had a hand in the screenplay too so I figure that gives it a decent shot at being good.
