I'm looking for HelpThing topics that are just completely not there. I ran into this recently with the new search page linking to a completely blank page. Are there any that you've run across that are just completely missing?
I'll try to keep on top of the thread and update this first post with a listing of what's mentioned downthread.

Quick links / Edit Quick links. HelpThing goes to a page that says "Bookservices2," which is weird, since that word is nowhere in the original page. There also needs to be some explanation of (a) what quick links are and aren't, and (b) how to add them to your own personalized "get this book" page/column, and (c) how to add new ones to LT and edit existing ones.
I'm still holding out for a better means of dealing with quicklinks, that gets them into CK or something, so that there's a history, and a way of deleting them, but in the meantime any instructions, even brief, would be better than none.
ETA links and some more info above:

No links, but these are pages I found earlier with little or no content:
Publisher Series
Subject
Most individual CK pages (IE, Place, etc)
DDC
Power Edit

This might also be helpful. This list shows all wiki pages that someone has linked to somewhere, but which don't yet exist. In some cases the links may need to be changed, but in others it can tell you what's needed.

Okay, I went through and did a pretty exhaustive (well, I'm exhausted) search through all the pages I could find, clicking on their Help links and updated the first post with them. I also added the ones rsterling have pointed out as well as some of Aerin99's. I didn't add them all, because I'm sticking in this thread to just direct context-sensitive help links rather than internal linking of stuff inside the wiki. For example, Power Edit (and, sadly, nothing in the catalog view) doesn't have a separate Help link.
I didn't figure out what you meant by DDC. I assume it's something to do with Dewey Decimal (Dewey Decimal Challenge? But that's a group so probably not). Could you clarify?

If I could make a suggestion: maybe it would be helpful to maintain this list on the wiki instead of here?
There is already a HelpThing welcome page which includes a list of pages that need to be developed, and which has been used in the past to track progress.
http://www.librarything.com/wiki/index.php/HelpThing
It's also easier to keep track on what's been started that way, since if you link to a Wiki page that doesn't exist, the link is in red.
So perhaps it would make sense, either on that HelpThing welcome page - or, if that would be too long and cumbersome, on a separate page linked prominently from that welcome page - to list all these blank HelpThing pages, along with the ones that have been done.

The Index of features (http://www.librarything.com/wiki/index.php/Index_of_features ) also links to many of the relevant pages.

6> Excellent point. Someone else can feel free to go ahead and do it using the info above. If not, I'll plug away at it later and post an update here.
7> Thanks for that. I was mainly just concentrating on live links that people would click from relevant pages that aren't hooked up. I figure there's several different places we can find holes in what's there versus what's expected to be there.

I've made a start with the edit quick links page and the work/editions page.
I also made a new page for keeping track of HelpThing pages and progress:
http://www.librarything.com/wiki/index.php/HelpThing:HelpThing/Pages_and_Progres...
I copied the list of pages from the HelpThing main page over to that new page, and we can also add some of the pages listed upthread, if they're not already there. I'm going to add some headings, to help organize the page.

I started checking the lists posted above, to see if these pages are already on that list of pages needing done. I got through http://www.librarything.com/zeitgeist/combiners.
This will take some time, but I do think it will be useful to have a list all in one place. The "progress" page links to the HelpThing pages themselves; it might also be helpful sometimes to list the pages they link from.
