I attend A conference on the History of the Rosenwald schools in North Carolina . The conference focused on Pender county wehre an old school was renovated/restored to original condition and functions as a Senior citizen center,etc. This man's wealth of history is phenonmenal. I was totally in awe with the depth of knowledge as well as the dedication and time spent to keep African americans reading , investigating, and thirsting for knowledge about a history that is not taught in school.
