Norman Mailer's place is up for sale. Fantastic photos of books throughout. Starting price is $2.5 M. I doubt the books will be kept and cataloged: "...if a buyer was interested in any of the furniture or other artifacts, the family would be open to discussion about selling them." If the buyer of the house isn't interested in the books, I imagine one of NYC's enterprising booksellers will be. Mailer remodeled it to resemble a "jungle gym at sea." Fantastic.
