Yes.
One of the reasons I do not put anthologies and collections into a series just for one story in the book.
The Pern series even includes a few magazines (original publication of some of the short stories).

I agree about the anthologies. However, when a short story in a series has a separate work record, I have been adding it to the series (if I have some idea how it fits into the series numbering). Otherwise, there's no way to know there are short pieces in the series as well.
Does that make sense to other folks, or do you only care about the novels?

I agree that the CK entry should apply to an entire work. I've seen similar things with awards: where an anthology has several short books in it, some of which have won awards. The anthology did not win the award, the work within it did. Similarly, here, the anthology is not part of the series. The short story may be, but the site isn't really designed for that (yet?). If someone had already entered the short story as a work, then maybe go ahead and enter the CK, but I wouldn't approve of adding new short story "works" only for the purpose of filling out a series.

It makes it very messy for the main series page if a work is listed two or three times, like Sworn Sword in that anthology, which shows up three times in

Edited to add: I haven't been following the new work-to-work relationship feature, but I was hoping that it would solve this kind of problem.

I've also seen two different anthologies that had the same short story BOTH listed on the series page (actually, this was one of them).

Note how Book of Changes is on there THREE times. Once each for different anthologies and once as a standalone work for the novella. I've a mind to axe all of the references but the standalone work.

6> The work-to-work relationship feature doesn't solve this problem because it's still at the work level. Tim has said that he's planning to add edition and expression levels and that should help with this and other problems.

I believe I have been listing the Harvard Classic Shelf Fiction anthology as a single works and reviewing it.
If I read a short story anthology, I can use the "comment" section to review the story and then later, once I've read all that interest me of the anthology I will review it as a whole, and rate it as a whole. Will someone review any anthology entries I've made and make suggestions for improvement as necessary?
