The Tate just ended one of its best exhibitions. It took me nearly 4 hours to see the 10 rooms! Any book recommendations about Hogarth and his work?

I'm incredibly envious ... I love Hogarth! You should definitely check out Hogarth: a life and a world by Jenny Uglow ... it's an excellent bio that puts him up among the very best English painters (not just printmakers).

Hogart and his times : serious comedy, like all publications by the British Museum on prints, is highly recommended!
