Sorry, Not interested. A total waste of time. Wouldn't have one in the house if you paid me.

I read one once back in the forties when I was a young whippersnapper. It had a boy, a girl and a dog. The dogs name was spot, and he used to run a lot. We got a TV the next day. Never read another one.

Oh, that’s odd, I have some holding my TV off the ground...

I wrap mine in white or brown paper (so they look the same and fit in with the tonal color of my room) and use 'em for decoration...

There's one under my computer monitor. Does that count?

I use 'em for doorstops.

I know just what you mean. I have stacks of them keeping any number of doors open. I also find stacks of books right in the middle of a doorway a good deterrent to curious wanderers, as well as an excellent alarm system. I use stacks of books for all sorts of jobs: holding up the shelves for my dvd, cd, and vinyl collections, setting my HDTV on, elevating my stereo speakers off the floor, putting lamps on., eating off of, almost anything that furniture can be used for can done by a stack of books.

As a projectile they are great for killing varmints...

Also good fuel for the fireplace. However, there are cheaper fuels, so I wonder why people are always buying books? Especially those with plastic on them; plastic won't burn well. :Confused:

A good excuse to go to the library... for movies.
