Northern and Eastern Europe, Christianization and Pagan holdovers

Does anyone have any suggestions on books/articles/websites on this topic? Medievalists.net has been an excellent source for academic articles, but I'm looking for more.

I assume you know Richard Fletcher The Barbarian Conversion: From Paganism to Christianity.

A good survey would also be Robert Bartlett's The Making of Europe.
