I've noticed several times that new members -- and even sometimes existing members -- will edit a HelpThing or other wiki page to add a question or other information. For instance: "How do I do XYZ?" "Change username to blahblah" or even an author editing the HelpThing page for the author page to add a list of his own books. Then of course there are the spam edits.
Do we need some better explanatory text at the top of all HelpThing pages to prevent this kind of thing, and also some prominent links back to Talk (FAQ or Welcome group) so that people know where to go to ask questions?
