ARCs received-July 2011

Happy July and Happy 4th to those of us in the US!

Today I received Before Ever After by Samantha Sotto

and a gorgeous hardcover(!) of the The Map of Time by Felix j. Palma, from this years Atria/Simon and Schuster promo.

I just finished the copy of Before Ever After I received and I loved it!

I also received both of these books.

My first review copies of the month: an ARC Velva Jean Learns to Fly from Early Reviewers and a finished copy of Selene of Alexandria from the author.

I got Yankee Doodle Dixie yesterday.

An ARC of Following Christopher Creed arrived today; I loved The Body of Christopher Creed when I read it a few years back so I'm wondering how a sequel will turn out.

ARCs of A Bitter Truth by Charles Todd and The Psychology of Twilight arrived this week; both were won in giveaways but haven't been released yet.

ARCs of My Life Undecided by Jessica Brody and The Midnight Gate by Helen Stringer unexpectedly showed up on my doorstep.

Learning to Swim by Sara Henry, The Map of Time by Felix Palma, and Shelter by Harlan Coben.

Learning to Swim was unexpected. I read The Map of Time and didn't like it much. I'm reading Shelter now and am liking it more than I thought I would.

Would you consider passing along Shelter when you are done with it. I love Harlan Coben and I love to read that one. Thanks

Sure. Eventually I'll pass it along through goodreads.com bookswap. That way I can give it away but not get stuck with the shipping cost or the inconvenience of driving it to the post office.
