Hey, graphic novels are great for upping th ebook count! :) Seriously, we don't care about the numbers, just that we get to spy on others' reading. Welcome!

By the way, we have a group wiki where we keep our useful threads. It may be of use to you... http://www.librarything.com/wiki/index.php/Groups:75booksin2011

You certainly deserve some short books having put away Shantaram and A Fine Balance. I have the first on my Mt. Bookpile and the second as safely in my memory as anything stays.

Fine Balance is definitely one of the most memorable reads till date. Here is my short review on the book:

Thanks Stasia.
"overwhelmed" - one word that can be best used to describe my feelings going through your profile page on LT!
Were you among the original LT users?

Welcome to the challenge and to Library Thing, Sandeep! Does your screen name have a meaning? The suggestion to read graphic novels is a good one. There are many written for adults though some written for young people are amazing. One of my favorites is The Arrival which doesn't have a single word but still tells an amazing story! You might also dip into young adult novels which read fast. There are many classics which are short in length but tall in stature like Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness or Machiavelli's The Prince. If you like mysteries there are some series that are shorter and less intense like Alexander McCall Smith's series starting with The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency. Each of them can be completed in one day. What is the source of your books? Library? Book stores? Friends? They may be able to give you suggestions, too. I look forward to following your progress.

#5: Arg! I need to get that one read! I have owned it for at least 2 years!

#7: Not sure how long LT was around when I joined, but I have been here since May 2006. Not original, but old anyhow :)

#8 Hello 'Mamzel', thanks for dropping by.

The screen name is a transliteration of a Hindi word, which when translated means Book worm.
And thanks for all the suggestions, I will try to complete them as quickly as possible. It was one genre that I had wanted to explore for so long now.
I own a kindle, so my primary source is Amazon's book store.
