I'm a bit late, but I figure I'll try to get in as many books/pieces of writing as I can. Because I'm starting this challenge so late (and I'm about to start my junior year in high school), I think I'm going to aim for 50 pieces of writing, not necessarily only books (including essays, etc). Here's what I have so far:
1. Ghost Boy by Iain Lawrence
2. Bartleby, the Scrivener by Herman Melville
3. Most of The Art of War by Sun Tzu
4. Self-Reliance by Ralph Waldo Emerson
5. Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau
6. Mort by Terry Pratchett (a reread)
7. Hamlet by William Shakespeare
8. Sourcery by Terry Pratchett (reread)
9. Coldheart Canyon by Clive Barker
10. Scorpia by Anthony Horowitz (reread)
11. The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein
12. Honey from the Rock by Lawrence Kushner
I'm currently reading The Rest is Noise by Alex Ross and Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro.
Here are some books I'm almost definitely going to read (I took them out from the library today):
The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley
Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk
A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson
After Dark by Haruki Murakami
Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer
Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn

30. Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder
