Kyla sprinted through the trees, she heard something. Her bow was at the ready.

A butt ugly orc wobbled out.
"What are you doing here?" She ask coldly.
"Order elfie." It gargled.
SHe listened.
"There are more of you, fifty more..."

Kyla looked around. She heard them.
"You will not get past me." She said shooting the Orc down.

Selderd was walking cautiously throught the forest.
Orcs were near.....he could smell them. He drew his sword, ready for battle.
He heard a twig breaking behind him, he turned and lunged, stabing the orc in the neck. one down.......

Kyla shot some more arrows. Then she heard an echo of a cave troll. A blade smacked and against her shoulder. She knew what they were after.
"Rayn." She muttered. Kyla turned and ran, she wasn't concentrating. She clutched her shoulder and then slammed into a man.

Seldred swung his blade, decapitating three more orcs. He smiled, proud of his work when something slamed into him.
At first he thought it was an orc, he recovered quickly, grabbing the intruder, pointing his sword dangerously close to its neck..
He widened his eyes in surprise. It was an Elf. What was an elf doing here?
He sheathed his sword, he was here for orcs nothing more.
"May I ask what an Elf is doing here? So far from Rivendale?" he asked curiously.

"I have to go to Gondor, I am seeking a kid." Kyla said.

He looked at her closely.
"There are many orcs in this forest. I shall help you" he said not asking, telling.

"She's not in the forest. This child is the key to everything." Kyla said as the ran. "And you wouldn't happen to know a Seldred? He's a man like you."

He blinks and then smiles.
"And why are you looking for this man?"

"I know him, we met a couple of years ago. He also knows where I can find Rayn." She said picking up the pace. She shot at an orc.

(( I spelt his name wrong up there but this is Seldred btw))

Seldred frowned, had they met before? Rayn, now thats a name that shouldn't be spoken aloud.
He searched her face, whatwas her name again? He had met her before...
"Kyla?"

"Seldred?" She asked stunned.

He smiled.
"Thats my name. But the other you spoke of shouldn't be said aloud, even the trees have ears here"

She stopped.
"You have to help me." She said. "She's in danger."

"I will. Gondor isn't too far."
Then he smelt then, more orcs.
He drew two swords one for each hand.
There wasn't too many, only about 9 or 10. He killed them easily, slashing and stabbing.
He turned to her.
"Come on"

Kyla nodded and ran. Then she heard it. the screech of a cave troll.

Seldred grinned. Cave troll, he hadn't killed one of them ina while, just boring orcs. He looked at Kyla, she looked a little panicked.
He pulled out his 2 swords, excited.
"Wanna join me?" he asks

"We must run, there is no time to stop." She said.

He sighs
"Ok then, but you owe me a troll"

"Help me I promise you fifty."

He grinned.
"Deal"
He ran off ahead into the forest.

Kyla looked back at Seldred, he was only a foot behind her.

He kept running, they were almost out of the forest.

Kyla jumped into the clearing. She held up her leather gloved hand.
"Stop."

He did.
"Whats wrong?" he asked getting ready to pull out his sword

Kyla listened there was a crack, someone small was running. A girl no odler then twelve busrt through the clearing. She gasped. her bow at the ready.

A girl burst through the clearing gasping bow in hand.
"Rayn." Kyla whispered.

Seldred stared at her in shock.
"Rayn! What are you doing?"

"Running.." She whimpered limping.

Seldred chuckled.
"Thats slightly obvious, here let me carry you, your limping"
He picked her up easily.

Rayn had a pretty big gash on her leg.
"Thanks."

"What happened, why aren't you in Gondor?"

"I was endangering the city, they told me to leave. They gave me two men, but they died a ways back. I was s'pose to met Kyla here." She.
"I thought for sure King Aragorn would take care of you." Kyla said walking faster.

"The King is not in Gondor, he has gone to Rohan "
He looked at Rayn,
"Have you seen anyone on your travels?" Perhaps Tallian he hoped

"No, I haven't we've traveled by night and always off roads." She said quickly.
Kyla stopped and listened. "Evil men to your left." She said, "i'm going to scout ahead."
Kyla sprinted ahead and was out of sight.

Seldred looked Rayn in the eyes
"Tallian? Have you seen him?" He knew the whizard would never abandon Rayn, something must have happened.

(wizard you mean?)
"No, he wasn't there. He bid me farwell but none other then that."

(woops I can't spell)
Seldred didn't believe it.
"Thats what you thought" said a famillar voice.
He smiled. He knew it, Tallian would never leave her unprotected.
He turned to see Tallian, completey out of breath, bent over clutching his side.

(LOL I con't tither!)
"Tallian!?" Rayn asked in a shocked voice.

Tallian smiled.
"Rayn you sure can run fast. I'm sorry I couldn't leave with you. They would let me, so I snuck out, been chasing you ever since."

"It's okay, I'm not sure what happened to Aragorn sir." She said.

Tallian blinked, looking at Rayn in amazment.
"Sir..." he said to himself. "I like it"
Seldred chuckled, patting Tallian on the back, almost knocking him over.
"Its good to see you friend"
Tallian smiled back
"And you Seldred"

Kyla was at Tallian's back arrow raised. She didn't know who he was.

Seldred saw but it was too late, the arrow flew towards Tallian. It stopped mid air just before hitting him. Seldred looked at Tallian, his violet eyes bright, a small smile on his lips.
Seldred let out a breath of relief, of course, magic.
Tallian turned to face Kyla.
"Friend or foe?" he asked Seldred.
"Friend, Tallian this is .."
"Kyla" Tallian finished for him. "Yes. Your the one Rayn is to meet. I'm Tallian"

"Sorry Wizard," She said kneeling.

Tallian laughed in surprise.
"If I knew elves held wizards in such high regard I would have moved to Rivendale years ago" he waves his hand dismissively "You are forgiven"

"Thank you," SHe said standing up.

"Ok" said Tallian rubbing his hands together
"Where to?"

"Mordor, er at least the ruins."

Tallian nods, a little apprehensive.
Seldred grins there were a lot of orcs between here and Mordor.

Kyla cleaned her sword, her bond hair in her face.
"We should rest."

Seldred nods.
"I'll keep watch"

"No, i'll keep watch, I've been watching to the east and there's something there."

Seldred wasn't tired.
"I'll join you then"

Seldred walked silently out into the forest

Kyla walked to where she knew trouble would stir.

Seldred followed Kyla.

Not forty minutes later did the defening screech of the orcs peirce her ears. She drew her bow. one was in sight about a mile away. SHe shot.

Another orc came at then from the side. Selderd flung his dagger, which sunk into the orc's chest, killing it instantly. He whipped out his two shortswords, preparing for battle. A huge grin on his face.

Kyla was shooting arrows, never missing. Then her leg went out from under her. She was hanging from a tree. She ws very glad that she refusd to wear dresses. She couldn't get down.
"Seldred! Seldred!" She yelled.

Seldred looked up at Kyla, chuclking. He heard a noise, he quickly turned and decapitated two more orcs. He wiped his swords. He walked to the tree standing under it.
"Let go" he comanded with his arms outskretched.

"I can't! I'm bond to the branch!" She said. Swinging helplessly.

He sighed, shaking his head. He began to climb the tree, reaching her branch. Pulling out a knife.
He held her ankle tightly. He cut the strap of her arrow sheath, it was wrapped around the branch.
She slipped slightly, he leaned over to catch her, he grabbed her arm and pulled her up.
Crack, the branch broke . They fell.

Kyla and Seldred landed with a thud. Kyla stood up a little shaken.

Seldred groaned, standing up and skertching. He looked at Kyla.
"Sorry about that, you not hurt are you?"

"I'm an elf. I don't get hurt she said. "But you're clearly hurt."

He looked down at himself. Checking for damage. There was blood all over his leg, where a branch had skeered him, not too deep though, nothing serious.
"It's nothing"

Kyla stuck an arrow in an orc right behind her.

Seldred watched impressed before throwing a dagger at another one.

Kyla helped him up.

"Thank you"

"No problem." She said stabbing another orc.

Seldred whiped out his two swords again. Terminating every orc he saw.

Kyla had ten arrows on her bow, ready to fire. An orc moved, and her arrows shot faster then light and another round followed.

They worked side by side killing every orc in sight.

"I'm going to warn Rayn!" She said sprinting off.

more orc came their way.
"I'll get these you go"

SHe nodded and ran to Rayn.

Seldred killed the rest of the orcs

Kyla met up with Rayn.

Tallian watched her curiously.
"Whats the matter Kyla?"

"I dunno, she's been uh angry for a while..." Rayn said shrugging.

Tallian nodded, curious.

"Ever since she met Seldred..." Rayn said her voice drifting off.

Tallian raized an eyebrow.
"Seldred, really?" he looked at kyla for confermation

Kyla pretended to ignore the wizard. SHe rolled her eyes and walked away.

Tallain frowned, about to interigate her further...
"All dead." Seldred said happily, walking into the clearing, wipiing his swords,oblivious to the tense atmosphere.

Kyla was at the edge of cliff looking down at the mist.
"So what are we gonna eat?" Rayn asked.

Tallian fished some food out of his bag.

Kyla was in the shadows from behind a tree. She opened up her small golden locket and a mysterious blue light filtered out.
"You must get her to safty Kyla." Said the voice that was guiding her. A crack sounded and she closed the locket.

Tallian smiled at seldred
"I hope all that killing hasn't upset your appetite."
Seldred chuckled, taking some bread from him.

Kyla walked over to the rest of the group.
"We need to keep moving." She said seriously.

Seldred stood up, finishing off his food.
"Where to?"

"Away from here." She said.

Seldred shut up, obviously she didn't want to talk. Tallian stood up and followed them.

Kyla scanned the trees. No movement. AN hour later they were at the end of the road.

Tallian followed silently, he was curious about the elf, could she be trusted? Why did she hate Seldred?

"No, no, no!" She said looking up at the cliffs. "It can't be blocked." She whimpered.
"Kyla-"
"Not now Rayn!"
Suddenly the rocks burst open.

Seldred whipped out his swords, Tallian stepped in front of Rayn.

"No, it can't be." Kyla said stepping back.
"You shan't enter!" Said the motain in a deep hallow voice.

Tallian stepped forward.
"We shal enter if we please.,"

"NO!" The mt bellowed.
"Leave me to this." Kyla said quitly.
Then the mt reached out and grabbed Kyla round the waist.
"GO!" SHe yelled.

Tallian nodded to Seldred.
Seldred picked up Rayn and ran.
Tallian stepped closer,
"I command you to let her go"

The mountain shook and trembled. He raised the fist Kyla was in and dropped her.

Tallian raised his staff and stopped Kyla from hitting the ground head on

Kyla looked down. SHe gulped.

Tallian lowered her to the ground gently.

Kyla didn't waste a second and she pulled out a necklace.
"I am the heir of the first elves circle let us pass!" She bellowed
The MT parted allowing them to go through.

Tallian blinked, heir? He knew that she was curious powerful for a young elf.
Seldred appeared from the cover with rayn in his arms.

Rayn was pretty shaken. Kyla waled into the mot 1st.

Tallian followed with seldred and Rayn behind him.

The mountain was dark and stank of dead orc

Kyla was leading the way. Her bow at the ready.

Tallian held onto his staff , lighting the way

Kyla was more alert then ever.

Tallian saw a shadow, he turned to see it but nothing was there

"WHat is this?" She whispered to herself.

Tallian frowned.
"It could be anything, drawves, orcs...."

"We should run, just in case." Rayn said quietly.

((Ya there.))

Tallian picks up the pace

Kyla drops to the back, just for safe measures.

They continue on into the darkness

Kyla touched the walls, they didn't shake. It was still.

Tallian dimed his light slightly

"At the end of this is door, a door that leds to the Mines of Moria.

Tallian nodded solemly, the mines were very dangerous.

"Goblins."

Seldred drew his swords

"Shh, shh!" She said holding a hand up.

Tallian brighten the cave, searching

"Bad, bad, bad." Rayn muttered.
