Georgette Heyer on Kindle

Just wanted to give a head's up...

I just noticed today that Amazon reduced the prices down to $1.99 on a BUNCH of Georgette Heyer novels! They dropped from $7.99 to $1.99, so I bought some. Heyer's books can be hard to find, so I thought this was a really good thing for Kindle owners. :)

Yay! I was hoping they would do that. I'm glad to hear it, for my friends who have a Nook.

I bought 5 and the Georgette Heyer's Regency World last night too and was coming to spread the word. Good for you for getting here first, Angela!

The sale was in honor of the 109th anniversary of Ms. Heyer's birth, and was supposed to run only through August 21 (cf http://www.sourcebooks.com/readers/casavip/happy-birthday-ms-heyer.html), but apparently Amazon hasn't yet gotten around to setting all the prices back to normal.

Oh, so THAT's why they were reduced. Good to know, and I'm glad they kept the prices low for a long time. :)

I told my husband about it, and he went and bought them all! :-D
