Great categories! I'm anxious to see if we choose any of the same books for our "In The Beginning" category.

Thanks I've been pouring over my Mountains of books and TBR lists to see what I have already , but half the fun is the search, and discovering something totally new

Welcome to the Challenge! You have a nice mix of categories and I love the fact that the only books I have read are the likely suspects under your Gone But Not Forgotten category. Looking forward to following your reading.

.... before I forget, Love your "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things"! LOL!

@19 Thanks it was taking me forever to come up with a clever name for that catagory but in the end it was actually an episode title form my favorite show on TV Supernatural, I'm glad you like it ...lol!

Ok, so I've been thinking alot about this challenge and have come to a conclusion, I really want to try for the 144 books (12 in 12) but I know I will never do it in just 1 year so I've decided that I'm going to be starting this challenge early with the hope that I will be able to make the 144 by the end of 2012

>21 VelvetHaven: That's what I decided as well :) I have you starred - here's to hoping we both make it!

I love the categories. Looks like we might have a few books in common, but who knows. I never know exactly what books I'm going to read until they land in my hands.

@ 22 Thanks I hope we both make it as well, my personal best for reading is 100 books in a year so I'm hoping a few extra months will get me to the 144. I also have your thread starred so here's to many months of good books and interesting conversation :)

@ 23 Thanks it's always nice to met a fellow reader who likes similar books, I try not to plan my reading material to far ahead for just the same reason, I change my mind offen , there just isn't enought time to read everything I want , so I want to make sure what I read is really great :)

ok so again I have decided to change things with my challenge, and all this is taking place because I just have way to many unread books sitting on my shelves and just can't justify buying more books when I have so many that are unread, so I have decided to turn my 12 in 12 challenge into a 12 series in 12 challenge and move some of my series off my TBR, now i'm going to cheat a little bit with the shorter series and lump them together a 1 so I will be able to fit more series in off my shelves. I will be reading each series from beginning to end or the last published book. See above for my new choices in series, This list of books is exciting me alot and I can't wait to start reading!!

will be interested on how you find the Dresden files - I've read the first 7 or 8 but have lost touch with the series and gone on to other things so I wonder if the next 7 are worth reading

@ 26 i'm also a member of Goodreads, and all my friends over there were raving about the Dresden series so much I just had to move this series up on my TBR to see what all the hype is about, I'll let you know what I think :)

I tried to visit your page but there's some kind of problem. I hope you can get it back.

I love that you did this by series! I found your thread by searching Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye because that's on my 12 in 12 list too. I was so excited to find your lists because I think you've got some great prospects that I possibly might steal. :)

Have you read any of The Dresden Files series yet? This is interesting to me.

I may also be interested in the Morganville Vampires series. I'd love to hear your thoughts on that too.

I'm also attempting to read the Song of Ice & Fire series next year. I loved the TV series and I've heard the books are fantastic.

I've got you starred, looking forward to seeing what you think of your series you've chosen. I'm hoping to whittle away at my Mt. TBR and finally read some of the books I've bought in the last year.
