my searches have as object the occultism and the magic in the stories; now I would want to widen this study to deep south literature.
can I ask you a list of authors that has written stories of magic and occultism?
and even some extract of story , if someone of it has you of available (pdf or word)?
Many thanks

The Anne Rice vampire novels are all set in the south, specifically New Orleans, i.e. Interview with a Vampire, etc. I seem to recall a scene in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil where someone was doing magic.

The occult, in the form of voodoo, does feature in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.
