PS: I like most of his work... and it is Brubaker... regardless of what he is writing

Thanks for adding some more discussion topics for debate to the group. I'll have to get back to you on this one. I haven't read any of Brubaker's works yet, although I have Sleeper patiently waiting amongst the 20 books or so on my TBR next pile.

I would say that Brubaker is excellent at writing both. If I have a *slight* preference, it's for his slightly more crime-y works rather than the mainstream Marvel stuff, but that's entirely my personal preference.

Sleeper is my flat-out favourite work of everything he's done, followed by Incognito, with Criminal coming a close third. But really there's very little to split them.

Wish he'd come to the UK for a convention sometime, I already had Sean Phillips sign all my Sleeper trades, so I need to get Ed's on them now. :)

Maybe he's best at writing noir superhero crime?

(I really like Sleeper and his Captain America.)
