Moved from the September thread:

I added two more young adult paperbacks to add to my inventory this morning:

Out of Time by Caroline B. Cooney
Light wear on cover, and starting to yellow a bit, but looks respectable, and is in good, readable condition.

The Sign of the Beaver by Elizabeth George Speare
There is a name written inside the cover, otherwise the book is in good condition.

The second book (The Sign of the Beaver) is a Newbury Honor Book.

===================================

I also added the first four Magic Tree House books by Mary Pope Osborne:

Dinosaurs Before Dark #1

The Knight at Dawn #2

Mummies in the Morning #3

Pirates Past Noon #4

All are in very good condition.

===================================

Here's yet two more that I've added to my inventory:

Crossroads and Other Tales of Valdemar by Mercedes Lackey, et. al.
This one is in "like new" condition.

Sword of Ice: And Other Tales of Valdemar by Mercedes Lackey, et. al.
This one is also in very good condition.

I've added yet another to my inventory:

Night Of Sin by Julia Ross

This one is a trade paperback, historical romance, in giftable condition.

Also moved from September:

I just added Mrs Dalloway in a very good condition, and Saturday Night and Sunday Morning and On the Beach with lovely fifties' covers, and in pretty good condition.

I will send these books worldwide, as with a lot of books in my inventory. Just check the condition notes to find out where I will send.

I've added a couple more books. These two are both mysterys:

An Unsuitable Job for a Woman by P.D. James
There is light wear on cover, a few creases on the spine, some writing inside the cover, and it is starting to yellow a bit. In spite of all that, the book is in decent, readable condition.

Set Sail for Murder by Carolyn Hart
A couple of light creases on corners of back cover, otherwise in very good condition.

===============================

I'm also about to add:

Amaryllis, Zinnia and Orchid by Jayne Castle

These are "futuristic" romances. They have some wear, but are in decent, readable condition. I'll put more detailed condition notes in my inventory.

Geophile - the touchstone to Out of Time in your first message goes to the wrong one (Lynn Abbey, not Caroline Cooney).

And phooey, I was too slow - others grabbed all the ones I'm interested in. Or reserved them, at least...I've got my eye on those SF romance, if they don't get taken.

Sorry, jjmcgaffey -- the Jayne Castle romances were reserved very quickly.

However, some people don't follow through and actually mooch the books after they've had the reply to the "ask first", so we'll see what happens.

I'll keep you in mind if this moocher doesn't follow through.

I will be removing part of my inventory to take to a local used book store later this week. If you see anything you wish, mooch away or leave me a note to keep it in my inventory.
http://bookmooch.com/m/inventory/mareofthesea

I also have a few boxes of old reader's digest many-books-in-one editions. If anyone is interested, let me know. I can look for specific books if needed.

My next ship date is Thursday.

Due to a spot of book confusion while angeling, I've ended up with a copy of Doctor Who and the Curse of Peladon - ISBN 0426200616.

Anyone want it? Paperback, 140 pages, old, from a smoking home (not mine!) but doesn't smell of anything as far as I can tell, slight cover creasing and sun-fading of the spine colour, but otherwise in pretty good collector's condition.

ETA: Will send anywhere. Should you wish to give it a friend on its travels from my inventory, I won't complain!

I have some books I've been wanting to post and figured I'd offer them up here first. The first three by Jaida Jones and Danielle Bennett I'd like to send out as a set if possible:

Shadow Magic hardcover with dust jacket
Dragon Soul mass market paperback with some spine creasing
Steelhands Early Review edition

Also:

Maximum Ride The Angel Experiment by James Patterson mass market paperback, a bit worn.
Jackson Rule by Dinah McCall mass market paperback, a bit worn.
A Colby Christmas by Debra Webb series romance paperback, a bit worn.

Also have two sets of manga I'd like to send out the volumes of each set together:

B.O.D.Y. volumes 2 & 3 (incorrect touchstone)

Innocent Bird volumes 1 & 2

Just a heads up, I may need a bit of time to send everything out depending on finances.

Let me know on my profile if you're interested.

Anyone interested in an ex-library copy of Mr. Darcy, Vampyre by Amanda Grange? I got a new copy from BM today so I am looking to unload my old copy.

It is ex-library with markings on the spine and a library stamp on the first page. Here is the bad part. It looks as if someone dipped the top corner of the last third of the book into soda and/or coffee. It is still completely readable it is just wavy and darker in that area.

If noone is interested, I completely understand, I just thought I would throw it out there.

Kind of a random pimp, but would anyone be interested in a large amount of white, (slightly lighter-weight than butcher), paper? I've got about fifteen large sheets of the stuff. I'd prefer to send it domestically. If anyone is interested I would be willing to send it all for the cost of postage figured in at $5 per point. (My guess is that it would cost around $10 or so to mail it all.) If you are interested, let me know! Again, I know it's a weird offer, but I get the stuff free from work and I haven't been mailing many books out recently so it's all just been piling up... :-/

Does anyone have any interest in the smaller hardcover Reader's Digest Condensed Books or Select Editions? One of our tenants is getting rid of several of them and they are all in very nice condition with the top edges still fully gilded, but I don't want to haul them home if I don't have to. These are the ones I have:

Reader's Digest Condensed Books:
1995 Vol 1
1995 Vol 2
1996 Vol 3
1996 Vol 4
1996 Vol 6
1997 Vol 5

Reader's Digest Select Editions:
1996 Vol 5
1997 Vol 4

(There's also some sociolinguistics textbooks in this box, but from the mid 80's, just in case anyone is interested.)
